I’m Alevtina (Tina) Grishina, a furniture artist based in Florida. After more than fifteen years as a veterinarian, I dedicated my career to creating collectible wooden furniture inspired by the natural world.

Every Birds & Gardens piece begins as solid wood in my studio. I build each table from raw lumber and transform it using layered decorative techniques, including hand painting, patina, wax finishes, and metallic leaf. No two pieces are ever alike.

Many collectors come to me with a personal story—a beloved garden, a family landscape, favorite birds, or meaningful memories. Together, we turn those memories into functional works of art designed to be enjoyed every day and passed down for generations.

My work has received international design recognition, including the Best for Life Award (Art & Design) and the Travel to Art Award during Art Basel Week in Miami. I am also a member of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), the American Craft Council (ACC), and Florida CraftArt (FCA).
