This hand-painted woodland console table is handcrafted from solid wood and designed as functional art for elegant entryways, hallways, and collected cottage-inspired interiors.

The photographs show the artistic direction of the original piece. Your table will be individually built and painted, preserving the woodland character and atmosphere of the design while retaining the subtle variations that make every hand-painted piece unique.

For custom and made-to-order pieces, a 35–50% deposit may be available to begin your commission, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the piece, prior to shipment.

THE DESIGN

Inspired by the quiet beauty of forest life and English cottage interiors, this narrow console features a hand-painted owl, songbirds, a squirrel, butterfly, flowers, foliage, and delicate woodland details woven into a richly layered composition.

The soft sage-green finish shown here is complemented by warm gold accents and traditional turned legs, giving the piece the feeling of something collected over time rather than newly manufactured.

Every element of the artwork is painted directly onto the furniture by hand.

No decals. No transfers. No printed imagery.

The standard made-to-order version preserves the overall woodland theme, palette, and artistic character of the table shown while allowing for the natural individuality of original hand-painted work.

OPTIONAL PERSONALIZATION

Would you like the woodland scene to feel more personal to you?

For an additional design fee, I can adapt the artwork to include different animals or birds, favorite flowers or plants, a different color palette, meaningful symbols, or other personal details.

You may share your ideas through the personalization option when ordering or send me photographs of your room, wallpaper, textiles, artwork, garden, pets, or other inspiration.

More extensive changes that require an entirely new artistic composition are treated as a bespoke design and priced accordingly.

If you love the table as shown, no additional personalization is necessary. I will create your piece in the same woodland spirit and palette while retaining the individuality of hand-painted work.

HOW YOUR COMMISSION WORKS

1. Place your order or contact me to arrange a deposit.
2. I will confirm the dimensions, finish, and standard design details with you before construction begins.
3. If you have selected paid personalization, we will also confirm your preferred animals, botanicals, colors, symbols, or other meaningful elements.
4. You will receive progress photographs as your piece develops.
5. Final photographs will be sent for approval before the table is prepared for shipment.

Nothing ships until you are happy with the finished piece.

ARTISTIC PROCESS

Each piece is painted slowly and meticulously, layer by layer.

I begin by sketching the composition directly for the furniture, then build depth through layered color, glazing, fine brushwork, and small painted details that bring the woodland scene to life.

This process takes many hours and allows each console to retain the character of an original artwork rather than a reproduced decorative surface.

PRODUCTION TIME

Estimated production time is approximately 6 weeks, depending on the current studio schedule and the degree of customization.

Each commission is approached individually, with the time required for both furniture construction and original hand-painted artwork.

Free insured shipping within the contiguous United States is included.

Your console will be carefully protected for transport and delivered fully assembled.

Remote locations, Alaska, Hawaii, island destinations, and international orders may require additional shipping arrangements. Please contact me before ordering if this applies to you.

CARE

Dust with a soft cloth.

For occasional cleaning, wipe gently with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately.

Avoid abrasive or chemical cleaners, and use coasters or protective mats beneath wet, hot, or abrasive objects.

NATURAL WOOD

Solid wood responds naturally to seasonal changes in temperature and humidity. Subtle movement and variation may occur over time and are part of the character of genuine wood furniture.

Small variations in brushwork, texture, color, and finish are also inherent to individually made and hand-painted work.
