A collectible hand-painted blue console table inspired by an original private commission and designed for refined entryways, hallways, and collected interiors influenced by timeless chinoiserie landscapes and mural-painted rooms.

Each Birds & Gardens piece is individually made to order. Your console will preserve the artistic character and atmosphere of the piece shown while being individually painted and finished for your home.

For custom and made-to-order pieces, a 35–50% deposit may be available to begin your commission, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the piece, prior to shipment.

Inspired by atmospheric blue scenic wallpapers and traditional hand-painted interiors, this console is conceived as a quiet statement piece — one that brings depth, character, and artistry into a room without overwhelming it.

The drawer front and back panel are painted entirely by hand, creating a continuous scenic composition inspired by romantic Caribbean landscapes, pagodas, tropical foliage, and classic blue-and-white decorative art.

Rather than feeling applied to the furniture as decoration, the painting becomes part of the architecture of the piece itself, flowing naturally across its surfaces.

Each console is created as a bespoke object: designed to feel collected rather than mass-produced, and personal rather than generic.

The result is functional furniture with the presence of an original artwork — a piece intended to quietly anchor a room and become part of the story of a home.

Its narrow proportions make it especially well suited to entryways, hallways, living spaces, and intimate interiors where elegance must coexist with functionality.

CUSTOMIZATION

This design can be personalized to better reflect your home, architecture, and personal story.

You may request changes to the color palette, landscape, plants, birds, animals, architectural details, or other meaningful elements while preserving the refined scenic character of the original piece.

You are welcome to use the personalization option when ordering and tell me what you have in mind. You may also send photographs of your room, existing artwork, wallpaper, textiles, favorite landscapes, or other visual references.

For a small additional design fee, I can develop a more extensively customized composition specifically for your interior.

Your table will retain the spirit and atmosphere of the piece shown while being individually composed and painted for your home.

YOUR COMMISSION PROCESS

After your order is placed, I will contact you to confirm the dimensions, color palette, artistic direction, and any optional features before work begins.

If you have requested personalization, we will also confirm the landscape, plants, animals, architectural details, or other elements you would like incorporated.

If you have selected the optional electrical outlet, its placement and specifications will also be confirmed before production begins.

Progress photographs are shared throughout the creation process so you can follow the development of your piece.

When the console is complete, you will receive final photographs for approval before it is prepared for shipment.

Nothing ships until you are happy with the finished piece.

PRODUCTION TIME

Estimated production time is approximately 6 weeks, depending on the current studio schedule, the degree of customization, and any optional features selected.

Each commission is approached individually, with the time required for both furniture construction and original hand-painted artwork.

CARE

Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately.

Use coasters or protective pads beneath wet, hot, or abrasive objects.

As with all solid wood furniture, subtle movement and natural variation may occur over time and are considered part of the material’s character.

POLICIES

• Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase
• Returns are not accepted once the piece has shipped due to the bespoke nature of commissioned work
• Each table is individually made and painted; subtle variations in brushwork, composition, wood grain, and finish are inherent to the handmade process
• Optional features, including the electrical outlet, must be selected or confirmed before production begins
